Mandolin virtuoso Sarah Jarosz is to appear at St.

Bede’s Club, Clayton-Le-Woods on Sunday, June 3.

She emerged on the acoustic music scene as a mandolin wunderkind in her young teens.

Jamming onstage with bluegrass icons like Ricky Skaggs was followed by impromptu live jams with such as Mumford and Sons and studio sessions with Bela Fleck, Jerry Douglas, Darrell Scott and other musical luminaries.

Now signed to Sugar Hill Records, her music is blossoming of its own accord within the current trio format that will appear in Chorley.

The show on Sunday June 3 is in aid of Galloway's Society for the Blind.

Tickets are £13 advance, £15 on the door.

Tickets available from the Box Office on 0161 7612216 or online via venue.
