An open day is being held for students and their parents interested in finding out more about the new free school in Chorley.
Year six and Year 11 pupils are invited to attend the event in the Latham Room at The Pines Hotel.
It is on Saturday, May 5, between 10am and 11.30am, and then later between noon and 1.30pm.
The event will provide an opportunity to find out about the plans for the new Chorley Career and Sixth Form Academy.
The Gill Academy Trust wants to set up a free school in central Chorley.
Initially it is proposed that the school will be located in temporary accommodation at Lingmell House, Water Street, while the school is built in central Chorley A planning application has been submitted for the change of use of Lingmell House into a school.
