Plastic surgery talk for Chorley hospital tust meeting


Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is inviting people to its annual members’ meetings, which will include a session on plastic surgery from a leading plastic surgeon.

The event will feature a talk from Mr Jeyaram Srinivasan, called ‘Plastic Surgery - Looking Beyond the Glamour’ and a presentation from chief executive, Tony Curtis on the developments at the trust over the past financial year.

Mr Srinivasan’s presentation will focus on the work of the plastic surgery team and how they take a multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment provided for conditions such as skin cancer, breast reconstruction and burns.

The two dates for the annual event are: Wednesday, September 15, Chorley Town Hall, 6.30pm.

Thursday, September 30, Preston North End Football Ground, 6.30pm.

The Trust, which runs Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley and South Ribble Hospital, holds the event annually for its patient, public and staff members. Members of the general public are welcome to attend, providing they are eligible to become Foundation Trust Members.
