Older people's roadshow to tour Chorley villages

Chorley Older People’s Forum is hitting the road to spread the word about its services.

Chorleyey Council’s 50+ Active Generation, which offers a range of free activities for older people to enjoy, will be joined by members of the Older People’s Forum, Age Concern, Help Direct, NHS Central Lancashire, Neighbourhood Watch, health trainers, Lancashire Fire and Rescue and other organisations.

The next event will be at The Institute, in Bretherton, on Thursday, September 16, from 1pm to 3pm, followed by another on October 14, at Hoghton Village Hall also from 1pm to 3pm and one on December 7 in the community lounge at Harewood, Astley Village from 10am to 1pm.
