Volunteers wanted to help at Chorley country park

Volunteers are being given the chance to join Chorley Council’s rangers and help carry out conservation work on nature reserves and parks.

Conservation days are being held at Yarrow Valley Country Park on Wednesdays throughout August from 10am to 3pm. Anyone who is interested is warned tasks can be physically demanding and they must dress appropriately for the weather, wear sturdy footwear and bring a packed lunch and drink.
