PRESTON Grasshoppers had double cause to celebrate last Saturday week.
Not only did they win convincingly at home against Bracknell 27-15 to take fourth place in the Jewson League 1, they also celebrated the sponsorship of their new electronic scoreboard by Bowker, the Preston BMW dealership on Channel Way, and Banks and Derbyshire, the only BMW-approved bodyshop in Lancashire.
The scoreboard is the latest initiative in Bowker's programme in the community, which has included providing Preston Golf Club professional Andrew Greenbank with a Series three saloon, and commemorates the Grasshoppers' promotion last season.
Bowker's managing director, Richard Halsall, said: "We are delighted to be associated with Banks and Derbyshire in providing support to a successful club."
