NORTH West Water is poised to start work on a £1.8 million scheme to refurbish water mains in Sutton. More than 21 kilometres of old mains are to be replaced in the area.
To inform customers about the works, North West Water's mobile visitors centre is visiting the area on December 2, when it will be in the car park off Peckers Hill Road, Sutton. Water company staff will be available between 10am and 5pm to provide details of the scheme and answer any questions from local residents.
