Young footballers showed off their skills when they took part in the fourth annual Inter Mosque competition.
Some 64 teams from 16 mosques took part in the competition as proud parents and spectators looked on.
Bolton Council's Sport, Health and Inclusion Team, in partnership with Bolton Council of Mosques, set up the event which gives youngsters aged from eight to 14 an opportunity to take part in the beautiful game.
The winners of the under-8s competition were Medina Mosque, beating Noor-Ul-Islam. Taiyabah won the under-10s with Noor-Ul-Islam the runners-up. Noor-Ul-Islam bear Al-Rahman in the under-12s final and Noor-Ul-Islam secured the under-14s title with a victory over Taleemul-Quran. The winners and runners-up from the tournament will represent Bolton against teams from Preston and Blackburn in an Inter-Borough Mosque Football Finale at Spa Road Playing Fields on August 14.
Competition organiser Inayat Omarji said: "It has been fantastic to watch. The kids have shown how much talent and enthusiasm they have for the game."
