More than young people from across the borough attended Chorley Council’s apprentice open day to find out what the council has to offer.

After getting a first hand insight into where an apprenticeship can lead by a former apprentice, Chorley Council’s Chief Executive, Donna Hall, the group were told about the work they could be doing and what training they would be given should they be successful.

The potential apprentices are all hoping for good GCSE results today before they select which apprenticeship they will apply for.

Eight places are available at Chorley Council across a range of services.
