A man has been jailed for more than eight years for drug offences in Chorley.
Robert Dooley was arrested in October 2021 after he was seen dealing drugs.
A further investigation by the South division Proactive Target Team showed he was more heavily involved in drug supply and was buying and selling large quantities of Class A and B narcotics.
He also said to have groomed a vulnerable woman and used her home as a base for his activities and to get contacts for selling drugs.
Dooley, 35, of no fixed address, was convicted after a trial of possession with intent to supply class A and B drugs.
He was jailed for eight years and four months.
Chief Insp Chris Abbott said: “The supply and use of Class A drugs brings untold misery to our communities, and we will continue to proactively target those who seek to profit from the sale of illegal narcotics.
"I hope this sentence sends a message to those who, like Dooley, are involved in this trade that we will come for you and will put you before the courts.”
