Three teens have been charged after burglars armed with baseball bats stole a high value electric bike.
At 4.20am on Tuesday (September 5), police were called to Heys Hunt Avenue in Leyland after receiving reports that four males, armed with baseball bats, had entered a garage and stolen a high value electric bike.
A group of men were arrested nearby after trying to leave the area in a taxi.
Two boys, aged 14 and 15, and both from Preston, have been charged with burglary. Another boy, aged 15 and also from Preston is charged with aggravated burglary.
All three will appear at Preston Youth Court today.
