A MAN wanted by police in connection with assault offences has been arrested and charged.

Kyle Jordan, 25, of no fixed address, was wanted after two females were assaulted at a hotel in Charnock Richard on January 29.

A woman was pulled to the ground by her hair before a 17-year-old girl was punched, suffering a fractured eye socket and cheek bone.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “Following a number of appeals for information Jordan was arrested in Northern Ireland earlier this week and later transported to England.”

Jordan was re-arrested in Preston yesterday (Wednesday, June 19) and charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent, assault, driving without a valid licence and driving without insurance.

Jordan was remanded to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, June 20).
