TESCO are recalling a batch of Rude Health Cacao and Vanilla Granola due to fears it contains almonds among the contents which are not written in English.

It means that the 450g produce, which has a best before date of October 9, 2018, will pose a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to nuts.

The affected batch is L417 and is only sold at Tesco.

A statement by the Food Standards Agency said: “Rude Health Foods Ltd is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

“The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice which will be displayed at Tesco Stores.

“These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product

?“No other Rude Health Foods Ltd products are known to be affected

“If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to nuts, do not eat it. Instead return it to a Tesco store for a full refund, or alternatively email a picture of the batch code on the packaging to hello@rudehealth.com.”
