Police want to speak to a man after a pensioner’s home was burgled in Whittle-le-Woods.
 
Police were called around 2.15am on Tuesday following reports of an incident at an address in Town Lane.
 
A man had entered a property and taken cash and bank cards from a purse.

The homeowner, a woman in her 80s, disturbed the offender, with the thief making off from the scene.
 
One of the bank cards was later used at a garage in Preston Road and then again at McDonalds in the Capitol Centre, Walton-le-Dale.
 
Following CCTV enquiries, police would like to identify this man, pictured, in connection with the investigation.
 
PC Craig McCabe, of Lancashire Police, said: “We are appealing for information following a burglary in Whittle Le Woods.
 
“The victim, a woman in her 80s, has been left shaken and upset and we want to identify this man as part of our investigation.
 
“I am certain someone knows who this man is. If you do, please call police immediately.”
