SANTA paws was feline festive on Sunday as Pennine Pen Animal Rescue staged their Christmas Fair.
Hundreds of supporters turned out for the fundraiser at the Honeywell Lane sanctuary which generated an incredible £4,241 for the charity.
Dozens of stalls selling good as new, bric a brac, crafts, home-baked goodies, pet treats and accessories and a tombola helped the crowds part with their cash.
The event also gave the team the opportunity to reveal their new dog paddocks and dozens queued up to have their picture taken with a cutout of the rescue's "celebrity" mascot, King Kenny.
Trustee Natalie Downs said: "We were overwhelmed with the response. We hope that everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did.
"We never imagined that we would raise so much money and we are so grateful for the continued support for the charity.
"Without the support of the public, we would not be able to help so many unwanted and abandoned animals and we are truly grateful for everything people do to help us."
