TWO Burnley sisters have been thrust into the spotlight – without even realising their luck – when their designs were featured in the new three-part BBC documentary Class of ‘92.

The show follows the adventures of former-Manchester United footballers Ryan Giggs, Phil and Gary Neville, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt after they bought Salford City FC, a club run by volunteers with an average gate of 80.

Jessica Cunningham and Emma Deeks were busy sorting the clothes out for a fashion shoot for their Prodigal Fox brand when a crew from the BBC turned up to film their Padiham-born model Gareth Seddon – not knowing that the handsome hunk is also a striker for Salford.

The sisters’s company sell bespoke dresses, with Gareth helping out at photo shoots.

Jessica said: “I knew Gareth from being out and about in Burnley but I didn’t really know him well enough for him to tell me why they were there and because the filming was classified I didn’t know what it was for.

“Then I got a load of Facebook notifications when it was on the television and we had to watch it on the iPlayer.

“It looked glamorous because we shot it in a house in Waddington. We rang up and asked if we could use the house and the cars so it was amazing.”

Mr Seddon, the Nemesis Agency tattooed muscleman from Padiham was previously a fitness instructor in the RAF, before quitting the forces in order to begin a professional football career.

Jessica, who is now also operations director at Sweetheart Marketing, which acts as the PR for Gareth, and Emma only launched their sassy brand last January.

Prodigal Fox, run from Brunshaw Road, sources all the materials and makes its bespoke dresses by hand.
