DETECTIVES hunting a man who indecently exposed himself in front of a group of girls have released an Evofit image.

Officers say the young victims, aged between 10 and 12, were “extremely upset” by their ordeal.

They believe the person responsible for the attack in Clitheroe could look like the man in the picture.

They have released the image, created by a computer system which builds a picture based on descriptions from witnesses and victims of crime, in a bid to track down the attacker.

He is white, in his mid-30s and approximately 6ft tall.

He had short, dark hair and was wearing dark-rimmed glasses.

He ran off after exposing himself to the group at the Waddington Hall campsite, off Waddington Road, on August 24.

Det Con Gary Williams, from CID, said it was important that anybody with details about the indecent exposure, or anybody who recognised the man in the Evofit, gets in touch with police as soon as they can.

He said: “These young girls were left extremely upset by this incident.

“I urge the public to have a good look at this image and if they recognise the man to please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

Det Sgt Louise Darcy added: “I would also ask anyone who sees a man matching this description to get in touch with us urgently.”

Anybody with information should call police on 101, quoting log reference 1517 of August 24.
