Chorley FC’s plans for next season have been given a boost as title winning captain Andy Teague became the first piece in Garry Flitcroft’s Conference North jigsaw, agreeing a new two year contract with the club.
Andy, who joined from Lancaster City in January 2011, has become an integral part of Garry’s squad making more 150 appearances for the club and lifted the coveted National Game Step 3 and 4 player of the year award last month.
Popular Striker James Dean has also committed his future to the Magpies by signing a one year deal.
Teague said: “It was never in doubt. This shows the commitment we have with me and james Dean signing early and I expect other to sign soon.
“With the correct signings I think we’ll do well next season.”
