There will be a War of the Roses Weekend at Hoghton Tower on Saturday, May 31 and Sunday, June 1 from 10am to 5pm.

Spend the day with Sir John Savile’s Household and immerse yourself in the 15th century.

See the Tower transformed with living history displays of craftsmen, soldiers and everyday life from the era of Elizabeth Woodville and Richard III.

Learn about the War of the Roses, the dynamic struggle between the royal households of York and Lancaster.

Tea room and stables gift shop open. Admission is adults £5, children and concessions £3, under 5s free.
