The club provided a full set of personal bests for Chorley runners at the 5K Cuerden Park Race.

Chris Charnley smashed the 21min barrier with a fifth place in 20:36.

Martin Quinn just missed out on getting under the 21min barrier, and Warren Crook celebrated his 50th birthday with a debut run in 22:54.

The PBs continued with V50 Simon Townsend, 1st (junior) lady Finty Royle, Jane Bowles, London marathon runner Alison Parkinson, Dennis and John Kay, V70 John Minton and Anthony Lloyd all securing improved times.

Chorley also had success in the Horwich Triathlon with Ainsley Murphy leading the team home finishing 27th.
