THE Easter holidays saw a successful half-term soccer school run by Chorley Football Club.

The 40 participating kids showed up to Victory Park each morning, looking forward to an action-packed day with their new friends.

Each day, the young athletes received training and help with their technical skills, penalty taking and other activities.

They also took part in small sided football matches.

On the last day, Chorley FC striker James Dean presented certificates to each child who had taken part.

Chairman Ken Wright said: “It’s been a fantastic few days and I’d like to thank all the children who took part.

“These are hopefully future fans of the club and it can only stand us in good stead in years to come.

“The more sessions we put on, the more kids attend and that is wonderful to see.”
