A church charity which provides meals to the needy has been given a cash boost.
Chorley Community Housing has funded extra shelving and provided meals at Living Waters Storehouse.
This was done through a £500 grant from its neighbourhood fund.
The storehouse had taken over space in the adjoining Living Waters church cellar and needed extra space to store supplies, but the cellar needed suitable shelving and lighting to allow it to be used for food storage.
Living Waters Storehouse has a café which is open to the public on Bolton Street, Chorley. Families and vulnerable people attend to collect food parcels, and hot meals are provided as people wait for their provisions.
