Chorley Football Club will stage its annual Golf Day on July 15.
Magpies manager Garry Flitcroft, and head coach and fellow Blackburn Rovers legend Matt Jansen will swop studs for spikes to help boost the club’s finances.
The event will see 24 teams of four players pitted against each other and the first player to ace the par three 12th hole will win a Nissan Juke donated by The Chorley Group. The price of a team – £350 – includes green fees and bacon sandwiches, tea or coffee, an evening meal and prize presentation.
