A health professional has been awarded the title of Queen's Nurse for her commitment to improving standards of care.

Lynne Bax, associate clinical director, began her career as a registered nurse and midwife.

She now works at Leyland House in Lancashire Care Trust’s adult community network. The title of Queen’s Nurse is open to nurses who want to demonstrate commitment to patient-centred values and continually improving practice.
