Chorley Council offer free help to elderly this winter

CHORLEY Council is offering free help to older people who are struggling this winter.

The Warm Homes Healthy People Campaign, running from December 2013 to March 2014, will look to help the elderly with heating bills, medical travel and other problems.

Councillor Bev Murray, who looks after older people for Chorley Council, said: “Older people can feel vulnerable during the winter months but we want them to be reassured.”
