Leyland churchman on a mission
4:53pm Wednesday 13th March 2013 in News
A world-renowned evangelist is returning to Leyland to lead ‘Life Week,’ a mission run by St Andrew’s Parish Church this month.
Having fronted a Leyland mission two years ago, Revd Canon Dr Michael Green is bringing a team from Oxford to help run another packed week of activities from March 16 to 24.
His team of 12 will be involved with events at the church, the Civic Centre, Runshaw College, local schools and venues across Leyland, Chorley and Preston.
David Gibb, vicar of St Andrews, added: “We are privileged to have Michael and his team with us for nine days, it’s going to be a great time.
“The whole church has been inspired by Michael’s enthusiasm and wonderfully got behind the project. There is so much planned, it’s breath-taking.”
