Advisor aims to help boost business in Chorley
4:44pm Monday 11th February 2013 in News
HELP is at hand for businesses in Chorley after the local authority boosted its specialist business advice service with the appointment of a new advisor.
The role, created by Chorley Council to offer support and advice to established businesses, complements the existing successful service which helps start-up and fledgling businesses.
The appointment of Alice Grieve as business advisor is all part of the authority’s drive to support the local economy, attract new investment into the borough and create new jobs.
And the council believe the appointment will be welcomed by existing businesses in the town.
Coun Adrian Lowe, who oversees business for Chorley Council, said: “We welcome Alice to the council and she is another string to our bow to help local businesses.
“We appointed Paul Heyworth last summer to help start-up and businesses up to three years old, and Alice’s appointment to help established businesses who’ve traded for more than three years was the obvious next step.”
