HOBKIRK Peter William Suddenly on Wednesday 10th April 2024 at the Royal Blackburn Hospital and of Mellor, Peter, in his 84th year. The dearly loved and loving husband of Christine, much loved father of Mark, dear father-in-law of Kathy, and brother-in-law of David. A devoted grandfather, uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle. Peter will be sadly missed by his loving family and many, many friends. A service will be held at St Marys Church Mellor on Monday 29th April 2024 at 12noon prior to cremation at Pleasington. For those attending the service please wear a touch of colour. Family flowers only, or if so desired, donations may be made in memory of Peter to Dementia UK, c/o The Alty Funeral Service. A treasured friend with whom we spent many happy times over the years. Memories created will never be forgotten. You were a great sportsman, businessman and raconteur. The contributions you made to your home town will long be remembered. You will be sadly missed by your family and the countless number of friends you made. A life well lived. Never to be forgotten.
