Not all stalls to close during works

Shopping in the town’s market on Tuesday, I was pleased to see that work has already commenced on the outside painting and upgrading of the covered market.

When I enquired as to the dates it will be closed, I found that many of the market stalls will continue to trade throughout the works being carried out.

This particularly applies to those whose stalls are on the outer edge of the area.

As this is contrary to the article published on December 31, I do hope that customers will continue to show support during this period.

As the 'credit crunch' continues to bite, we all need the considerable savings to be had by shopping on the market and showing our support for what is surely going to be the showpiece centre for our town.
