I live in Higher Wheelton and understand there have been some objections to the Go Ape project.
I have visited several of the Go Ape venues around the country and they are extremely environmentally conscious with regard to the area of their sites.
They even encourage eco education among visitors old and young.
They have a strong safety ethic and work hard to ensure the welfare of customers.
I feel this will be a welcome addition to local facilities as well as providing an employment boost (however small) to the Chorley community.
In the current difficult time we should be grateful for and encourage any positively minded companies willing to invest in our area Patrick Hoy via email
