Remembrance service spoilt

I went to church on Remembrance Sunday at Christ Church, Charnock Richard, to pay my respects and also to say prayers for my uncle who died eleven years ago on Armistice Day after a lot of suffering.

The service was completely spoilt for me by a mother allowing her child to run around the church screaming and shouting.

There were other children there at the service who were very well behaved and it was lovely to see so many children for once attending church.

I thought it was very disrespectful and especially when the names were being read out honouring the brave people that died fighting for our country from the parish.

I am all for encouraging families to go to church, but please try and keep your children under control and if they do play up please take them outside. And before anyone thinks the worst, yes I do love children very much.
