As someone who was lucky enough to be adopted and be given a loving home by my adoptive parents, I would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's National Adoption Week a success.
Thank you also to the thousands of people who contacted the British Association for Adoption and Fostering (BAAF) to find out more about adoption.
If you missed the week, don't worry, it's not too late to get involved.
There are around 4,000 children across the UK needing a permanent and loving family and I urge people to consider whether they could offer any of these children a home.
For information visit nationaladoptionweek.org.uk for details.
