Chorley is one of the worst places for parking.
A lot of the parking bays only allow you to park for half an hour. You should be allowed a minimum of 2 hours free parking.
Many people avoid Chorley because you can’t relax shopping with umpteen parking attendants harrassing Motorists.
If you shop in Blackburn the parking is totally free and you can take your time and relax and enjoy your shopping without having to rush about to escape the traffic wardens /parking attendants.
Chorley Borough Council are greedy and unfair towards the motorists especially when you are charged parking fees to visit someone in hospital.
I think that we pay more than enough to the council via council tax without having to pay more to park. It costs enough to run a car with road tax and the high cost of fuel without having to pay more when you park.
