As one of the faces of National Yummy Mummy Week 2008, I would like to let all the mums who read this website know that it’s not too late to take part in this year’s campaign in aid of the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity - CLIC Sargent.

Sponsored by Foresters, Yummy Mummy Week 2008 runs until the end of September and will see thousands of Mums getting together with their friends and family for fun events that raise money to help the 10 children who are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK.

Every penny raised helps CLIC Sargent offer these children, their mums and families the support they need when their lives are turned upside down.

As a mum I know how difficult it can be to juggle everything but if you can find some time this September, get the girls round or get the family outdoors and have a great time fundraising in Yummy Mummy Week.

It doesn’t matter what you do – choose an event that suits you and your friends – then simply have fun in the knowledge that you’re making a real difference.
