SO tonight’s the big night — it’s the Big Brother final.

And eviction parties are being thrown in living rooms all over the country to mark the event.

Like it or not this reality TV show is still as popular as ever and this year’s celebrity series has gone down a storm.

Somehow ‘man of the people’ Vinnie Jones, Jordan’s latest love interest Alex Reid and Basshunter seem to have captured a nation.

They and the other bottom-of-the-barrel celebs have attracted new fans, brought old ones back and kept the loyal followers, to create one of the most talked-about series in a long time.

But deep down everyone knows it's past its sell-by date.

Even Davina is getting desperate. What was she thinking, putting herself in with the contestants?

And dressed as a chicken — has she forgotten that she is the presenter?

That means she doesn’t have to make a complete idiot of herself to get on telly.

But despite her initial excitement at being in the house, Davina didn’t hang around — E4 viewers saw her presenting Big Brother’s Big Mouth less than an hour later.

Love it or hate it, everyone has their favourites. My money’s on Stephanie Beacham.

She’s achieved the impossible, stepping into the Big Brother house and coming out the other side with her dignity in tact.
