East Lancashire family takes on new TV fat challenge

X-FACTOR reject Emma Chawner and her family are set to reappear on a 'fat-busting' reality television series after piling on the pounds again.

The family lost weight after the first series of Lorraine Kelly's Next Big Fat Challenge but have put it back on since the cameras left.

Now the presenter has re-visited the family and enlisted the help of a psychotherapist and hypnosis expert to get to the root of the problem.

The six-part series aims to get the family back to work and to address their overeating once and for all.

Emma and her family found fame following her X-factor audition where Simon Cowell slated her performance.

They were later evicted from their Ramsbottom home following complaints over her singing and have since moved to Great Harwood.

Lorraine Kelly’s Next Big Fat Challenge starts on August 24 at 8pm on the Bio Channel on Sky.

Why on earth is ITV wasting their money on this family? I can tell you what the root of their problems are - massive over eating and work shyness - simple as. I would think they could find more deserving families to help, as this family seem to have chance after chance and just throw them away.

So the experts are going to get to the root of the problem!
I am no expert but it is plain to see that they need to get jobs and contribute to society instead of lazing around living off benefits.
What a waste of money this scheme is.

What a waste of money!!!! This family clearly have no interest in losing weight and being healthy or anything else in life for that matter. They are lazy layabouts and if they did lose weight then they could ALL prob work but maybe this is why they piled the pounds back on as they are happy sitting in their fat lazy backsides living of US taxpayers cash. Stop the benefits make them work they'll soon lose weight!

The root of the problem is the hole the food goes in is bigger than the hole the food comes out of. Why dont you go to the docs and get a free gym pass then go and work of some fat.. Simple . burn off more calories than you eat and hey presto you will loose some weight.

The problem isn't their gluttony or their sloth, it's their belief that they are worthy of attention, and the more they get the more they gorge on it. Blame the TV bosses who have indulged them and the people who watch that sort of junk TV.

I see the LET thought-police have been active again.

Top and bottom this lot are a bunch of lazy good-for-nothings. They are on telly because it makes us all feel morally superior however it is extremely annoying that these wasters are having significant sums of cash spent on them with absolutely no success, and there never will be.

God bless this country where the scum seem to be doing better than those who work hard and legitimately.
