A ROSSENDALE woman has scooped £1,000 after winning TV cooking show Come Dine with Me.
Kate Mayers, 28, of Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, competed against four other budding chefs.
The Valley enterprise agency worker was named best host after a three-course meal of goats cheese tartlets, pan fried monkfish with mussels and crevettes, and a Bailey’s brulee dessert dish.
Property developer Mark Hogg and artist Sarah Rothwell, both from Ramsbottom, were also in the running for the prize.
