Bad Girls – The Musical is showing this week at Adlington Community Centre, Railway Road.
The show comprises a prison block full of serious offenders with a few comediennes thrown in for good measure.
But these inmates can sing, dance and riot with the best of them.
Based on the successful TV series of the 1990s, ‘Bad Girls’ pulls no punches as far as intrigue, treachery and sheer villainy are concerned.
Some of them will stop at nothing, absolutely nothing, to put one over on the prison hierarchy.
But fear not – there is comedy in plentiful supply.
Christian Brabin will be making his directorial debut with Adlington Music and Arts Society with Dave Dossett returning as musical director following the critical success of The Drowsy Chaperone.
Bad Girls – The Musical runs until May 4 at 7.15 pm Tickets are £9 from Tyrer’s of Adlington, 168 Chorley Road, Adlington or by calling 07507 012080.
