Chorley Empire Film Society begin their latest season with a gala night and a screening of the latest Bond epic Skyfall.

Marking the 50th anniversary of the films about secret agent James Bond 007, this thoughtful and thrilling action film crosses the world as old decisions haunt Bond’s boss M after a terrorist strikes at the heart of the British establishment.

The film is directed by Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench and is Ralph Fiennes with the film winning a BAFTA for outstanding British film.

The film will be shown at Chorley Little Theatre on Sunday, March 10 at 7.30pm.

Entrance is £4 and tickets can be purchased in advance from Malcolm’s Musicland on Chapel Street or on the door.

The Gala Night screening will include a complimentary glass of wine for every audience member, doors open 6.30pm.
