Kym Marsh has revealed she and new boyfriend Dan Hooper are considering surrogacy as she is unable to have another baby herself.

The 38-year-old Coronation Street star and fellow actor Dan, 32, told OK! magazine they have moved in together and are head-over-heels in love.

Kym has three kids and Dan has a four-year-old daughter with Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Waring, but the couple revealed they would love a family together.

Kym was forced to have an ablation of the womb after severe health problems, which means although she can still conceive she would struggle to carry a child to full term.

She revealed: "When they did the operation they asked me if I wanted any more children and I said no because I was in a different place then.

"Also, having kids for me is really traumatic; I didn't want what I went through with Archie (Kym's son who died after he was born 18 weeks prematurely in 2009). But now I've met Dan we're a bit upset as we would have loved to have kids together in the future."

Dan added: "We don't know what the future holds with regard to adoption or surrogacy, but it will all make sense in the future."

The loved-up couple told how they first met when Dan had a few scenes in Corrie, but were both in relationships at the time. But sparks flew when they met on a night out in Manchester in February.

Kym revealed: "I've never been happier. I feel like a weight's been lifted off my shoulders and it's all because of Dan."

Dan added: "It didn't take me very long to fall in love. Kym's amazing inside and out. We laugh all the time."

Kym split from Jamie Lomas, father to her daughter Polly last October. She also has two teenage children, David and Emily, from a previous relationship.
