Devious Maids star Dominic Adams is positive he will return in the show's third series.

The British actor, who plays bodyguard Tony Bishara, made his exit as the US drama had its second series finale on UK channel TLC. A third series has yet to be announced.

"I'm always hoping to return! It's been a great experience. I love being in the show and I love the reaction from fans - it's been wonderful. The cast and crew have been a big family," he said.

"A lot of questions are answered but there's also a lot of doors left open, so we'll see where that takes us."

Dominic's character was booted out of Adrian and Evelyn Powell's home after his motives were revealed. It came after his affair with Evelyn (Rebecca Wisocky) came to light.

The actor said the couple have an unbreakable bond.

"The blessed Powells, Adrian and Evelyn, ultimately are very strong. They're two incredibly strong people who, at their core, have this deep, complicated, twisted love and I don't think that's going to change, regardless of these things that come and go and these people who come in and out of their lives," he explained.

"They are like this black hole that devours everything before them. So no matter what each of them are doing with other people, they always seem to hold the power at the end. I don't see that changing any time soon."

Dominic added: "I think the trials and tribulations they went through in the first season only made them stronger and more bonded in this twisted way. I do not see anyone being able to come in between them and actually break them. For all of their bickering, barbed comments and craziness towards each other, it's a bond that is unbreakable."
