THE boys are back in town for this explosive sequel directed by Simon West.

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) and his team, including Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li) and Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), accept a new assignment from Mr Church (Bruce Willis).

What begins as a routine mission descends into bloodshed when rival mercenary Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme) murders a member of the Expendables.

Grief turns to rage and the Expendables recruit two new members – Billy The Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) – to boost their chances against Vilain and his thugs.

With heavy hearts and even heavier artillery, Barney and co venture into enemy territory, determined to honour the memory of their fallen comrade.
