THE console iteration of James Bond will struggle to ever release itself from the shackles of the peerless Nintendo 64 shooter GoldenEye.
007 Legends finds itself as the next in line to deliver that licence to thrill. It features an original, overarching storyline that explores Bond’s journey from a new agent to most-beloved spy legend, and merges half a dozen classic Bond movie-inspired missions, including Moonraker, Die Another Day and Goldfinger.
Unfortunately, while character models, audio and immersive minigames get your trigger finger twitching, the core shooting sequences are nothing we haven't seen before. 3.5/5
