Nick Zano has been cast as precog Arthur in Steven Spielberg’s new TV spin-off series of Minority Report.
The futuristic film starred Tom Cruise as the head of a PreCrime police unit that used psychics known as precogs to help predict murders before they happened, meaning potential killers could be locked up before committing a crime.
The pilot episode of the new show, set 10 years after the events of the movie, stars Stark Sands as precog Dash, who is driven by his terrifying but fragmented visions to secretly help a brash but shrewd police detective, Lara Vega (Meagan Good), attempt to stop the murders that he predicts.
In the film Dash and his identical twin brother Arthur were played by the same actor, but the TV series will see One Big Happy star Nick take on the role of Arthur, a villainous character who has used his powers of prediction to gain wealth and power.
Minority Report is due to begin on US TV in September.
