Tom Wilkinson has revealed his new comedy Unfinished Business is still unfinished – with only a month to go until it opens.
The 66-year-old British actor stars with Vince Vaughn and Dave Franco in the film, from Delivery Man director Ken Scott, about a hard-working small business owner and his two associates whose business trip to Europe encounters some serious hurdles.
Tom revealed: “It took a long time. We finished filming in 2013, and then we went back and did some more work last year. And then we did some more work last week – so we’re still finishing. It’s opening in a month or so.
“It’s looking very good, I’ve seen a version of it. It looks fun.”
The Grand Budapest Hotel star – who plays President Johnson in new drama Selma – revealed that while there was plenty of fun in the film, Vince and Dave were very professional on set.
Asked about high jinx while shooting with the comedy stars, he said: “Not so much. You hear stories about that sort of thing. But no, no, very few jinx at all – high or low.”
Selma – starring David Oyelowo as Martin Luther King Jr – opens in cinemas on Friday February 6, 2015.
