One of the legends of musical comedy is bringing his show to Chorley Little Theatre in October.

Neil Innes is best known for his collaborative work with Monty Python, the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band and for the Rutles, while his shows for BBC2, The Innes Book of Records have become cult classics.

Neil is bringing his unique brand of musical brilliance to his solo show, which tours the UK through spring and autumn.

The show is wry, poignant, and humorous, spiced with anecdotes of Neil’s life and times in the worlds of media and show business.

In this new tour, apart from Bonzo, Python and Rutle favourites, Neil will be performing more recent material as well as brand new songs, with plenty of audience participation, to form a loosely themed evening that tickles the emotions with a potent mix of fine musicianship, hilarious comedy and enlightened lyricism playing around with the more puzzling aspects of modern life.

Difficult to describe – it has to be experienced.

Neil Innes performs on Sunday, October 7, from 7:30pm. Ticket are £13 from Malcolm's Musicland, Chapel Street, 01257 264362.
