Chorley theatre group CADOS has announced a stellar line-up of productions for its next season which coincides with its 80th anniversary celebrations next year.
The entire season consists of shows which have never been performed by CADOS before including two world premieres.
Tickets are now on sale for the seven shows in the 2012-2013 season from September until June.
A CADOS spokesman said the season is ‘intended to provoke thought, make you shed tears of sadness, laughter and joy, but most of all will provide an entertaining night out.’ The first show is Calendar Girls from Saturday, September 1, until September 8.
Already deep in rehearsal, this is the Lancashire amateur premiere of this funny and moving true story.
In October CADOS will perform The Elephant Man written by Bernard Pomerance and the December seasonal show is Santa – The Panto.
Gritty northern drama Kes will be performed at the end of February, 2013.
May will see two shows, Two and I Love You, You’re Perfect, while the final show of the season next June will see Sherlock Holmes appear in Chorley in The Hound Of The Baskervilles.
Tickets are on sale now from Malcolm’s Musicland.
