Top television comic Marcus Brigstocke brings his stand-up show The Brig Society to Chorley Little Theatre on Thursday, April 11, at 8pm.
Very few tickets remain for the show in which Brigstocke attempts no less than the total restructuring of every aspect of life in Britain organised through the medium of jokes.
Those attending the show could win a free hospital or school. Second prize – a major High Street bank.
Brigstocke has worked extensively in stand-up comedy, television, radio and is particularly associated with the 6.30pm comedy slot on BBC Radio 4, having appeared on several of its shows.
He has hosted a satirical programme on BBC4, The Late Edition, which has been described as ‘Newsnight with jokes’.
The award-winning comedian is a firm favourite with comedy fans and The Brig Society promises to be as sharply observant and quick-witted as his much loved catalogue of work.
For tickets, priced £15, call in at Malcolm’s Musicland, Chapel Street, Chorley, or call 01257 264362.
