CHILDREN’S author Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo tales, arrives in Burnley today to give a unique insight into her work.
The writer of more than 150 books, Julia has been invited by Yorke Street based Mid Pennine Arts gallery for a special talk.
Open to parents and teachers across East Lancashire, Julia will give the inside track on how to encourage children’s development through literature.
The gathering is at Burnley Youth Theatre, off Queen Victoria Road, from 2pm.
Youth theatre actors will perform her play Bombs and Blackberries tonight and tomorrow, from 7.30pm.
