WHEN Bolton author Kate Long’s novel The Bad Mother’s Handbook was turned into a television series, the big star on-set was comedian-turned-actor Catherine Tate.
But looking back at the production photos, another face looks curiously familiar.
For dressed in a very fetching school uniform and geek specs is none other than Hollywood hearthrob Robert Pattinson.
Since playing the part of Edward Cullen in the film adaptations of the Twilight series, Robert has become one of Hollywood’s hottest properties.
And Kate says that she could tell the young actor was going to be big news.
“I could tell he was destined for great things,” she says. “He was very laid-back, very cool.
“I just wish I'd got his autograph!”
Kate’s new novel, A Mother’s Guide To Cheating, will be published on February 18.
